About The Director, S. Michael Jones, MSW

I have over 30 years of experience in the social service field and working with families and children.
Because of my varied work experiences (in both the urban and rural environments), I bring much familiarity with family dynamics and how to deal with the difficult issues which families face today.
Using a solution-focused approach, I help families and individuals to develop a plan of action that brings resolution to their problems.

I have presented workshops at local, regional, state, and national conferences on a variety of subjects related to family services.
Also, I have been involved in collaborative efforts to address the varied issues that communities face. Having worked with the Courts for over three decades, I am familiar with the legal processes with which families are sometimes involved.
Possessing both knowledge and experience in family-based services enables me to work effectively with families, schools, Courts, community organizations, and churches.
